AC TOROS SELECT & YOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAMS

AC Toros offers Youth Academy (U8-10) and Select programing (U11-18) for both girls and boys. Boasting a coaching staff that features four current college coaches, one current professional player, and eight former collegiate soccer players, AC Toros staff bases their fundamental ideas around the core principle to develop the young player with the ball in game like activities as much as possible.

PROGRAM FEATURES

Leagues:

  • WYSA Youth Academy League

  • WYSA Southeast Classic League

  • USYS/Wisconsin State Leagues

  • Midwest Regional League (MRL) Qualifier

  • Midwest Regional League (MRL)

Additional Elements:

  • Paid coach and US Soccer/United Soccer Coaches licensed coach

  • Director of Sport and Player Development- provides methodology and curriculum for age group Coach implementation, oversight of coaching staff, coaching education and development

  • Select Director – Supervisor of day-to-day training model and all scheduling, initiate college recruitment education

  • Mid-Year Written Evaluation with option for in-person follow-up with coach

 

Training, game and tournament cycle:

  • 10-month training, games and tournament model (usually off 2 weeks in Nov., Dec., and all of July)

  • 3 times per week training in fall U11-U15) at one location

  • 2 times per week training in fall (U8-10) at one location

  • 1 time per week training in winter (U8-U15) at multiple locations

  • 3 times per week training in spring (U15-18) at multiple locations

  • 3 times per week training in spring (U11-14) at multiple locations

  • 2 times per week training in spring (U8-10) at multiple locations
